Seniors-Movie Review

A hot hot Sunday afternoon and what better way to relax than to go for a movie. Whatever be the content of the movie, its the AC that's relaxing. I reached the theater after a bad bad exam and caught up with Junior and JJ at the theater. There were six of us, unfortunately we got only 4 tickets. The first four opportunists and that included me, got in. Out of the two left, Sam, uninterested from the beginning, happily left and other guy Mr.B, obviously felt bad at us getting in, and gave us a doze of his mind. I took a major part of that firing.

Seniors
, starring Jayaram, Bobban Kunchako, Biju Menon and Manoj K Jayan in the lead roles, has been running to packed houses for the past one week and today was no different.
Although Seniors, is yet another masala college flick, it has neat comic moments and very a decent plot. Given the kind of movies that are getting released, this one's better and deserved the crowd.

The movie is about Jayaram(Padamanabhan alias Pappu) who after serving a term in prison( for murder of a college mate)comes to meet his close friends from college, Kunchanko Bobban, Biju Menon and Manoj K Jayan. He convinces them to accompany him to college and they together enroll themselves. At college, they get thrown out of class, get into fights, make fun at the college arts festival, break into the ladies hostel, creating funny situations. In the meanwhile, Jayaram tries to find who the real killer is(Yep, he was not guilty then). The movie treads a semi-thriller line and ends in the happily ever after style.
I felt a few scenes in the movie were overdone, and the logic a bit difficult to digest. Apart from that, the movie is a fun watch. Biju Menon stands out with his performance. The rest are good too and there is Suraj providing that additional bit. Overall, a decent movie, very watchable.

Thats all. I is off!
