Not Sleepy...

Hectic day, traveled many kilometers up and down, to dad's house, to pai's engagement and back. And now at 2am in the morning, am least sleepy. On some analysis down the memory lane i found that i have lost sleep whenever i make a time-table and put up 5am for studies or exercise. This time too nothings new. For, I just 2 hours before, drafted a newer plan to get up early and do some running for my fast becoming 'pot' belly. Odd ain't it?.

At the engagement, i was in a audience dominated by Konkani speakers. What puzzled me was the way these(konkani dudes..RESPECT!!) actually spoke the language. For over an hour, all my attempts at trying to figure out least one word..err..one letter ended in some unending confusions. In the meanwhile to my relief, eldo showed up and i was so relieved hear malayalam again.

With Arsenal going up against derby tomorrow, and Arsenal although out, not mathematically though, i wish they win their remaining two encounters, while Manchester United and Chelsea screw up theirs.

Thats all!!

COM'ON ARSENAL!!!!!!

My love for ARSENAL started during those days when i used to play FIFA football games in my PC. Over the years my passion for them as increased manifold. It's the way they play thats quite mesmerizing and unique in many a ways.

To experts(those dudes one can find making silly criticisms after every game, like he could have done this, that and what not) they(ARSENAL) are the club that play beautiful football. Indeed they are. Watching Arsenal play in their full-form is a treat to the eyes of any one who loves the game of football.

This season has been something of a roller-coaster ride for them, and unfortunately the roller-coaster is on a fall as far as Arsenal are concerned. After playing some excellent football through the half-way of the season, their confidence now seem to have gone for a nap and to the loo after that.

I believe it's the lack of penetrating prowess that's costing Arsenal most of their matches. Majority possession in most matches, some excellent passing, but unfortunately some damn poor finishing coupled with a some bit of bad-luck see them drawing a great number of matches.

Currently 3rd in the league, (still mathematically not out of not winning the league) and advantage Liverpool for the second leg of the Champions League, I sincerely hope that the Gunners regain their menacing touch and regain the lost ground.
